 |  | | Any criminal conduct by a Juvenile offender is likely to be heard in Juvenile Court. The Superior Court of New Jersey/Family Part has jurisdiction to hear these matters unless the Defendant is properly waived up to the adult system. Although there are distinct differences between the adult and juvenile system it should not be taken lightly. Also, the State requires any juvenile offender be represented by counsel.
